PNG SWITCH EXAMPLE:
Loads 8 bit PNG for Opera, Netscape 6+ and IE5 on mac. 8 bit PNG keeps file size down so its better than using 32 bit png.
Loads 32 bit PNG for IE5.5 and IE6 on Win. 8 bit Alpha isn’t supported on these browsers so 32 bit png is used. It blows out the file size but images are superior. We could always load gifs or jpg if need be.
Loads gif or jpg for other browsers. For NS4 and images in layers change object reference to document.layers[id]
A benefit here is that we don’t have to use images as backgrounds of layers. See source code.
